About us

Community and Town Councils are the most local level of elected government in Wales and provide a link between the local community and the principal authority, Caerphilly County Borough Council. Your Community and County Councillors  are elected or co-opted to represent the views of local people.

Llanbradach & Pwllypant Community Council covers the Wingfield, Central and Pwllypant Wards.

We support the community through providing grants to local clubs, allotment associations, groups and charities.

We also work with our local schools and volunteers on environmental projects.

At Christmas we fund and coordinate the Christmas pantomimes, Santa’s sleigh ride and the Christmas lighting.

During a few weeks through the summer holidays we have provide a sport play scheme in collaboration with CCBC for the children that reside in our area.

We usually meet on the 2nd Monday of every month (apart from August) at Llanbradach Community Centre a 6.15pm and members of the press and public are welcome to join us.
